About this Nominee
The Dryer is a family-friendly entertainment destination centered around Katy’s historic landmark, the JV Cardiff Rice Dryer. Our journey began with Katy Beer Garden, the first phase of revitalizing the property. Now, we're moving forward with Phase 2, set to open in Summer 2025. This exciting expansion will feature open green spaces, local vendor booths, a rideable train, katy gift shop, and a large-scale model train exhibit—bringing even more community-focused fun to the heart of Katy.
