About this Nominee
Katy Girls Softball Association (KGSA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an equal opportunity softball program for girls of all skill levels from 3-18 years of age. KGSA is organized and administered by an all-volunteer Board of Directors who each share a common mission to provide an opportunity for girls of similar age and dissimilar abilities to participate in an organized softball program.
The organization, which is celebrating over 40 years as Katy's largest and best softball league in Harris County, requires a tremendous amount of community and family support. This support is received in several ways. KGSA relies on the enthusiastic participation of Head and Assistant Parent Coaches and on the generous sponsorships and donations that help offset the cost of running the program to allow us to minimize player registration fees.
